Factory is an agent-native software development platform whose coding agents, called Droids, plan, build, review and validate code changes. Engineering teams set the goals and policies, and Droids turn requirements and codebase context into tested changes and pull requests.

**Key features:**

- Mission Control for monitoring active work, worker progress and execution logs.
- Automations that put repetitive engineering tasks on autopilot.
- Model routing that picks a model per task for quality, speed and cost.
- Code review with inline comments on every pull request.
- AutoWiki, a living wiki for each repository.
- Agent Readiness scores and per-developer and per-team usage analytics.
- Droid Computers, dedicated hardware that keeps agent state persistent.

Factory runs on desktop, terminal, web and CLI, and the CLI installs with a one-line script. It is model-independent, and organizations control where it runs and which models it uses. Teams can get started from the site, with a sales contact for enterprise deployments.

## More coding agents

- [Claude Code](https://dontaskagain.com/claude-code.md): Anthropic's coding agent that reads your codebase, edits files, runs commands and handles long tasks from your terminal
- [Codex](https://dontaskagain.com/codex.md): OpenAI's coding agent that fixes bugs, refactors code, builds features and reviews pull requests in parallel
- [Cursor](https://dontaskagain.com/cursor.md): AI code editor and CLI whose agents write, test and demo features, running in parallel on their own cloud machines
- [Devin](https://dontaskagain.com/devin.md): Autonomous software engineer that writes code, tests it in its own browser and VMs, and iterates until the PR can merge
- [GitHub Copilot](https://dontaskagain.com/github-copilot.md): GitHub's coding agent that completes code, edits files in agent mode and takes assigned issues to open pull requests
- [Replit Agent](https://dontaskagain.com/replit.md): App builder whose Agent turns a prompt into a working, hosted web or mobile app with database and auth built in
- [Cline](https://dontaskagain.com/cline.md): Open-source coding agent for desktop, IDE, CLI and SDK that plans, edits files and runs terminal commands with any model
- [Amp](https://dontaskagain.com/amp.md): Coding agent that runs each task in its own cloud environment and keeps working after you close your laptop
- [Jules](https://dontaskagain.com/jules.md): Google's asynchronous coding agent that clones your GitHub repo to a cloud VM, makes changes and opens a pull request
- [Kiro](https://dontaskagain.com/kiro.md): Agentic IDE and CLI from AWS that turns prompts into specs, then plans and implements the code with parallel agents
