Visit opencode.ai

OpenCode is an open-source AI coding agent that writes and runs code from the terminal, a desktop app, the web or an IDE extension. It reads the project, edits files and runs commands on the developer's behalf.

Key features:

  • Multiple agent sessions running in parallel on the same project.
  • 75+ LLM providers through Models.dev, including Claude, GPT, Gemini and local models.
  • Sign-in with an existing GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT Plus or Pro subscription.
  • A set of free models that work without an account.
  • Zen, a curated set of models tested for coding agents.
  • Terminal, desktop, web and IDE interfaces.

OpenCode is free and open source under the MIT license, and installs via curl, npm, bun, Homebrew or AUR. It does not store users' code or context data, except when the free models are used. Connecting other providers may add their own costs.
