Replika is an AI companion app that gives each user a personal companion, called a Rep. The Rep remembers the people, routines, interests and plans a user shares, so conversations pick up where they left off and can turn into real-world nudges.

Key features:

Chat with a Rep that keeps a memory of relationships, routines and interests.
Call the Rep by voice.
Customize the Rep's appearance, voice and personality.
Receive suggestions tied to things shared earlier, such as a gift idea for a family member.
Use conversations to reflect, think more clearly and stay close to friends and family.

Replika is available on iOS and Android and reports more than 42 million users. The company says it built the first AI companion ten years ago and has since rebuilt the app from the ground up. The app is free to download, with a paid subscription for extra features.
