Coding agent that runs each task in its own cloud environment and keeps working after you close your laptop

Visit ampcode.com

Amp is a coding agent and development environment. Each agent runs in its own environment, called an orb, so it keeps working on tasks such as fixing bugs, adding tests or shipping changes after the developer closes the laptop, and the work can be continued from a phone or shared with teammates.

Key features:

  • A separate orb for every agent, with no git worktrees to manage.
  • Automations that let agents wake themselves up to check production rollouts.
  • Production access granted or revoked per orb through OIDC.
  • Screenshots as proof of work and screen recordings as input.
  • Posting to tools such as Slack.
  • Team thread sharing, multiplayer sessions and shared plugins and skills.

Amp can use tokens from ChatGPT or Claude subscriptions or the user's own API keys, with no Amp token fees. The free Hobby plan includes all features, unlimited self-hosted orbs and pay-as-you-go hosted orbs. Individual plans start at $20/month with 45,000 minutes of hosted orb time, Teams costs nothing extra and adds SAML/OIDC SSO, and Enterprise adds SCIM, audit logs and custom self-hosted orbs.
