Sandbox infrastructure for running AI-generated code in isolated, stateful environments that start in under 90 ms
Daytona provides sandbox infrastructure for running code generated by AI agents. Developers create an isolated, stateful runtime from code in under 90 milliseconds, let the agent execute commands and programs inside it, and delete it when done, so untrusted code never touches their own systems.
Key features:
- Execute code and shell commands with real-time output streaming.
- Manage files with full CRUD operations and granular permissions.
- Run native Git operations with secure credential handling.
- Use built-in language server support for completion and analysis.
- Run sandboxes in parallel for code interpreters, coding agents and evals, with Windows and GPU options.
SDKs are available for Python, TypeScript, Ruby, Go and Java, and the project is open source on GitHub. Usage is billed per second (for example $0.0504 per vCPU-hour), new accounts get $200 in free compute with no credit card, and Enterprise adds SSO, audit logs and BYOC.
