Cloud sandboxes that give each AI agent an isolated microVM with a shell, filesystem, browser and network

Visit e2b.dev

E2B is an agent cloud that runs the isolated machine an AI agent works on. Developers bring the model, prompts and agent logic, and each agent session gets its own microVM where it can write code, run tests, process data, use a browser or deploy an app without touching the developer's infrastructure.

Key features:

  • Start a sandbox from a snapshot with a shell, filesystem, browser and network.
  • Pause, resume and control the sandbox lifecycle through one API.
  • Run coding agents, computer use, background jobs, evals and RL rollouts.
  • Work with any harness, including the OpenAI Agents SDK, Claude Code and Codex.
  • Deploy in E2B's cloud or in your own AWS, GCP or Azure account.

E2B has Python and JavaScript SDKs, and the runtime is open source under Apache 2.0. The free Hobby tier includes a one-time $100 usage credit, 1-hour sessions and 20 concurrent sandboxes; Pro is $150/month plus per-second usage with 24-hour sessions, and Enterprise adds BYOC and persistent sessions.
