OpenHands
Open-source platform for coding agents that review PRs, fix CI failures, triage issues and patch vulnerabilities
OpenHands is an open platform for agentic software development. Its agents write and change code, and teams turn recurring engineering work into automations that review pull requests, fix CI failures, triage issues, answer Slack mentions and remediate security findings.
Key features:
- Automation templates triggered from GitHub, Slack, Jira, Linear or schedules.
- Pull request reviews posted as inline comments.
- CI failure fixes and security remediations opened as pull requests.
- Incident retrospectives drafted from Notion and Jira notes.
- Multiple agent backends: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI or the OpenHands agent.
- MCP for internal tools and an SDK for building custom agents.
OpenHands is open source and free to download and run locally. Agents can run on a laptop, a local VM, a cloud sandbox or inside an enterprise VPC, with closed or open-weight models. A hosted cloud and team and enterprise options are also available.
